sumbuk No one does music quite like Camille and Xavier do. I see their music as being akin to soundtracks for unfilmed movies. In this instance it is a movie about explorers of mountainous terrain, perhaps the terrain of our lives. Merci pour cette musique si intrigante. :-)
Nickie Harte Kelly

Nickie Harte Kelly Here we have a sort of merging of progressive math rock, jazz and little bit of space thrown in for good measure. The music is instrumental and is more driving than space music, however. Band is primarily electric in sound with expert electric violin spicing it all up, as well as a plethora of other instrumentation such as accordion, cello, harpsichord, sax and flute. Favorite track: Horizontal Ascension.

about

Here are several pieces about imaginary mountains found on old maps.

It is dedicated to all who tried to climb their inner mountain, especially to Xavier Garnerin, writer, and friend.

"Après treize ans écoulés on dirait que j'en reviens au même point, mais le tour que j'ai fait était en spirale : il m'a mené plus haut" (Lettre d'Antonin Artaud à Jean Paulhan, juin 1937)
